the names of some of the people I mention have been changed so they dont look at me next time I see them and go "OMG, you wanted to do me?"
In random order.....
Henna: Oh how gorgeous was thine jaw line, Oh how cut was thine groin, Oh how devestatingly handsome.... I had it very bad for young Henna. He walked around like a normal human being completely oblivious to the fact I had built an enormous shrine in my heart for him that would shame the Taj Mahal.
One night at a party that involved the type of activities that left us all very "out of it" but there was soft drink to drink if you get my drift, Henna and I ended up in the bedroom of my good friend Jules. She walked in smiling with big black pupils, lit a candle, and shut the door.
Henna rubbed my back for hours while we talked about Africa, the Eyre Peninsula, skateboarding, life on mars.....all manner of subjects came through our lips. What I wanted to come through my lips was actually about a meter away from me but I just felt to inadequate to pluck up the courage to kiss his beautiful full lips and slip away into the land of unbridled passion for a couple of hours.
Agony I tell you. I was so grateful just to be so close that I didnt dare do anything that could possibly spoil what I had. If he had started up his own religion I WOULD HAVE BEEN A BELIEVER. I would have swam through a sea of glass if I knew he was waiting on the other side.
What is worst is that I heard through the grapevine a few years later that he was torn between me and another woman. Alas, I sure hung my head tha day. I WOULD HAVE HAPPILY SHARED!! In fact, we 3 could have been a couple! Then I heard that some guys have a regular piano, he owns a concerto grand capable of satisfying the whole auditorium!! I sigh as I type this...if only, if only, if only, became a mantra for a few years.
I guess I still may have a shot at it and if the opportunity came my way I would have to go hard so I could cross him off my D.B.R.L.
You only know how to go hard, so if the opportunity comes I'm sure he'll be off your list quicker than you can say "lets break in your piano, big boy".
ReplyDeleteDid you know I have been taking piano lessons for a few years now and I'm actually quite good...
ReplyDeleteI'm sure. It's all about the pedals, I understand. Get the pedals right, and the fingers look after themselves.
ReplyDeletethe fingers need just as much attention to detail as the pedals. I would say its all in the touch.
